Use Runic Hosting for lawful game hosting. Do not use a game server, panel, file access, network allocation or customer account to attack systems, distribute malware, evade limits or host unlawful material.
Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to every Runic Hosting account, game server, allocation, panel login, SFTP connection, API integration and other hosted resource. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service.
Lawful use
You may not use the Services to facilitate activity that is illegal in the jurisdiction applicable to the Service or to knowingly assist another person in doing so. Prohibited material includes child sexual abuse material, content whose possession or distribution is unlawful, stolen credentials, malicious software and fraud infrastructure.
You may not use Runic Hosting to impersonate another person, engage in phishing, operate scams, distribute unsolicited bulk messaging, or knowingly conceal criminal activity.
Network and security abuse
The following are prohibited without explicit written authorization:
- denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attacks;
- botnets, command-and-control infrastructure or malware distribution;
- unauthorized vulnerability scanning, credential stuffing, brute-force attacks or exploitation;
- spoofing, packet manipulation or attempts to bypass network controls;
- using the Service as a public proxy, VPN, traffic relay, tunneling service or anonymization endpoint unrelated to the hosted game;
- hosting phishing pages, credential harvesters or malicious downloads;
- attacking Runic Hosting, its providers, another customer or any third-party system.
Resource abuse
Shared hosting is sold for the game-server workload and resources shown in the order. You may not deliberately circumvent RAM, CPU, storage, process, container, network or player controls. You may not run cryptocurrency mining, password cracking, distributed compute, unrelated continuous workloads, fork bombs or other processes intended primarily to consume resources rather than operate the purchased game server.
Normal spikes caused by the game are not a policy violation. If a legitimate world consistently exceeds its purchased resources, we may recommend or require a larger configuration rather than punish normal gameplay.
Content and intellectual property
You are responsible for files, mods, plugins, maps, scripts and other content uploaded to your Service. Do not upload or distribute material you know you do not have the right to use. Runic Hosting responds to credible copyright and rights complaints under the Copyright & Abuse Policy.
Private in-game speech or gameplay is not routinely monitored. We may act where content or conduct creates a legal, security or infrastructure risk, or where a valid legal request requires action.
Game and software rules
You must comply with licenses and dedicated-server rules imposed by game publishers, mod authors and software vendors. You may not use Runic Hosting to bypass paid licenses, distribute cracked server software, defeat authentication systems, or operate a server in a way that the applicable publisher expressly prohibits.
We may remove or decline support for software that is unsafe, abandoned, malicious, incompatible with the hosting environment or legally restricted.
Accounts and access
Do not attempt to access another customer’s account, server, files, allocation or data without authorization. Do not share staff credentials, attempt to access staff-only interfaces or exploit panel/API behavior to gain privileges not granted to your account.
You are responsible for people you intentionally grant access to your own server. Remove former admins and rotate credentials when access should end.
Enforcement
We use proportionate enforcement. Minor or accidental issues will normally receive notice and a reasonable opportunity to correct them. Immediate suspension may occur for active attacks, malware, compromised servers, fraud, child sexual abuse material, credible threats, serious illegal activity or behavior that creates an urgent risk to Runic Hosting or others.
Repeated or serious violations may result in termination without refund. We may preserve logs or affected files when reasonably necessary for an investigation or legal obligation.
Reporting abuse
Send abuse reports to gamerpulsegg@outlook.com. Include the server address or other identifier, timestamps, relevant logs/screenshots and a clear description of the conduct. Do not send sensitive credentials in an abuse report.
