Use the address from your service
A production server receives its real connection details only after provisioning succeeds. Use the address shown in the game panel or customer service summary rather than copying an example address from a guide.
Some games use an IP and port. Some can use a friendly hostname. Minecraft can use SRV records in supported configurations, while other games may still require the assigned port.
Connection checklist
- Confirm the server status is ready or running.
- Copy the assigned hostname or IP exactly.
- Include the assigned port if the game requires one.
- Make sure your client version matches the server version or modpack.
- If the connection fails, check the console for startup errors before changing unrelated settings.
